Self-paced weekly activities must be completed, and all designed to enhance your educational experience with Kryolan further and empower you with the confidence and skills to become a great make-up artist. As this is a professional course, you will be required to successfully complete all of the modules, quiz, practicals and assessment tasks, along with attending our two hours final assessment review zoom class LIVE to obtain your certificate.

1. Completing Kryolan Certificate in Introduction to Pro Make-Up Artistry Or Kryolan Certificate in Beauty & Glamour. [Please note students who completed our special Online Certificate in Fundamental Make-Up Techniques course in 2020 are required to undertake additional live classes and practical sessions and assessments in Kryolan Certificate in Introduction to Make-Up Artist. Students can enrol in this course and complete the other requirements at a special discount before admission to the Advanced Certificate in Professional Make-Up Artistry Course.]

Course Outline

Welcome and Introduction to Kryolan, including a Make-up Health, Safety & Hygiene Module to get you kick-started.

Module 1 - Make-up Moods & Bridal Beauty. Discover a world of make-up trends & moods - along with a focus on Bridal beauty...

Module 2 - Ageless Beauty, the key to flawless make-up is understanding your client's individual needs and what products best suit different skin types and ages. The Ageless Beauty module will guide you through the ultimate tips and application techniques to create a beautiful make-up masterpiece for every client.

Module 3 - Global Beauty, Discover a world of make-up tips from around the globe - along with universal techniques to assist with make-up application across any skin tone and face shape

Module 4 - Period Make-Up, Learn about the history of make-up - and how those techniques to influence today's world of cosmetics and make-up application.

Module 5 - Make-up & Photography, as a professional make-up artist, is it essential to understand how lighting, your make-up application and product selection may impact the look of the make-up once photographed. This week we will take a look at the big no-no's when it comes to make-up for photography and learn what are the go-to products that will look amazing under the camera.

Module 6 - Masterclass & Final Assessment - Put your skills to the test! After an in-depth 5 modules it's now time to wrap it up with a final assessment to be delivered. You will be sent a Final Assessment Checklist with a brief on final looks to be created based on your learnings from the course. You are also required to attend a 2 hours of final assessment review zoom class in order to obtain the Certificate of Attainment

Students who did not progress through Kryolan courses and do not have a Kryolan beginner kit, are required to purchase the beginner kit at special discount or provide their own equivalent kit.

Course Duration

Total 5 modules. Each module contains in-depth written theory, step-by-step written get-the-look guides and video content. One LIVE 2-hour final assessment review online class, and one-on-one email support 6 days / week during the course.

You will be able to complete each module online at your own pace. It is essential that you have completed the relevant module prior to start the final assessment process.

Each module will take anywhere between 40 - 60 hours to complete (this includes the quiz/assessment, practicals) plus the final assessment classroom lecture.
