Get the Look - High Impact Lips Featuring Lip Stain

Let your lips to the talking with Kryolan Lip Stain. Renowned for its highly pigmented, long-wearing, smudge proof performance, Lip Stain is one of our cult products here at Kryolan and today, we want to share with you some tips and tricks of one of our fav’s.

Available in a wide range of colours from a rich nude pink ‘Gospel’ to a bold statement red ‘Rock’ and everything in between, there is a colour to suit everyone’s make-up mood.

Our Pro Team love the durability and strength of the colour and wearability of Lip Stain. It is designed to set and seal on the lips to prevent transfer and increase durability, it isn’t an average lip fluid and therefore needs to be applied a little differently.

Lip Stain performs much more effectively when it is pressed into the lips and is built up slowly rather than applying a lot of product in one application.

Lip Stain has a beautiful soft matt, velvety finish. Unlike some long-wearing lip products, Lip Stain will remain a little bit tacky on the lips so it won’t crack and feel dry.

If you love this look but you find your lips are a little bit dehydrated, we recommend applying a little lip balm before application can help to enable a smooth finish.

Application Tips

For personal use there is a perfect doe foot lip pad on the end of the applicator to allow for precise application. If you are going for a bold lip and feel a little shaky about pulling it off neatly, grab a Faceliner in a similar colour to your chosen Lip Stain and trace around the lip line to give you a guide to work within.

If you are a make-up artist using Lip Stain in your kit, use a synthetic lip brush to press the product in evening over the surface of the lips

Lip Effects

Lip Stain works incredibly well on its own, over a lip balm or under a lip gloss.

To achieve a high intensity gloss look, simply apply Lip Stain as your base and gently dab on Kryolan High Gloss Lip colour and press your lips together once or twice to give you a flawless transfer of gloss to the lip.

Did you know that our loose powders, pigments and glitters are safe for use on the lips.

Try adding a touch of sparkle to your lip-art with our Polyester Glimmer range. Apply Lip Stain as your base on the lips, followed by your favourite Polyester Glimmer colour. Gently press onto the lip with the Lip Stain is still setting. You can even add this to the top of the lip after you have applied High Gloss to give you the ultimate intensity, shine and sparkle.
