Dermacolor System
The Dermacolor system has been developed to create high performance wear of the Camouflage Creme that is resilient against the elements, heat, swimming and physical strain. The system consists of Kryolan Dermacolor Camouflage Cream, Powder and Fixing Spray. The culmination of cream, powder and fixing spray creates a fully waterproof wear of makeup that can be easliy removed with Dermacolor Light Cleansing Oil or Cleansing Milk.
How To
For everyday use as concealer, Camouflage Cream can be used like any other cream concealer. Due to its thicker texture, it it recommended to warm the product first to make it more creamy for a smoother application. Camouflage Cream is dermatologically approved and compatatable with a variety of skin types. It is suitable under the eyes and as a spot concealer.
Dermacolour Camouflage Cream is also successful as a full coverage foundation. It can be applied to the skin directly with a foundation brush or liquefied with a few drops of Make-up Blend for a thinner application.
In customising colours, Camouflage Cream mixes easily and can be warmed up with a Mixing Spatula and Bending Plate instead of the hand.
Tattoo Coverage
To conceal a tattoo or area of the skin with darker discolouration, colour correcting is first required to neautralise the discoloration before adding a second layer of coverage. For tattoos that often lean cool tones (purple/blue), a warm corrector is required such as shades D30 and D31. These corrective shades can be directly applied to the skin or mixed in with the foundation shade for less saturated discolourations. The first corrective layer should then be set using a liberal amount of Dermacolor Powder to prevent the creams from mixing. To ensure the cream is set evenly, pack the powder on with a Powder Puff The foundation/concealer shade should then be applied over the corrected and set with Powder again. To add a final layer of sealant, use Dermacolor Fixing Spray for a fully water and smudge-proof wear with added SPF protection.
Pro Tip - Camouflage Cream contains a higher pigment percentage than the average concealer and can be used alone to conceal or brighten darker under eyes.
Pro Tip - In the summer, mixing a small portion of shade DFD into a current shade can instantly warm the shade to better match tanned skin.
Pro Tip - To make a tinted moisturiser, mix Camouflage Creme with Dermacolor Moisturizer Cream.
Pro tip - Use Camouflage Cream underneath makeup to spot conceal imperfections. Allow for it to air dry on the skin for a few minutes, then stipple foundation on for a more natural and seamless base.
