Thin latex is milky in consistency. This liquid rubber can be used to make scars and appliances by brushing layers into a mould. When dry it will form a flexible rubber piece. Powder the piece thoroughly before removing it from the mould as unpowdered latex surfaces will stick to each other. Thick Latex is suitable for pouring into moulds. Will dry to a yellowy-clear colour or can be coloured with latex toners. Use both in a well ventilated space as latex contains ammonia as a preservative.
